Goats - Kaylie Perdue
Plum Grove 4-H

Hi, my name is Kaylie Perdue. I am currently a 7th grader at Tarkington Middle School. I am also the Plum Grove 4-H Historian as well as a Liberty County Ambassador. This would have been my second time to show a goat at Dairy Day. I participate in photography, baking and this year I was going to enter a beautiful floral arrangement. I have a great goat this year. My Goat's name is Rain and he weighs about 98 pounds. I am thankful I did get to take Rain to a few progress shows and a few clinics where I learned a lot about him and goat care in general. I spend about 2 hours on school days taking care of him and around 3 on non school days. Since the pandemic I have been spending most of my days exercising, playing with him and making him listen to me practice my Flute. As a 4-Her I pledged to make the best better which means not giving up, so the money I get from Rain will go towards my next goat for Dairy Day.
