Howdy! My name is Grace Tullos. I am the daughter of Michael and Stacye Tullos. I am 12 years old and will be a 7th grade student at Trinity Middle School. I am the Vice-President of the Trinity Area 4-H club, Secretary of the Student Council, a member of the Junior Beta Club, and A/B Honor Roll student. I am also a very active member of the Texas Junior Simmental/Simbrah Association and Texas Junior Livestock Association. My most favorite thing in the world, is to be in the showring with my cattle. I show Simmental heifers across the state of Texas with the most exciting of my wins to date, being at the 2019 State Fair of Texas. My heifer, OBR Ethal Lee, was named Overall Reserve Champion Simmental Female. Ethal and I also won Reserve Champion Junior Showmanship at the Simmental/Simbrah Superbowl at the 2020 San Antonio Livestock Show. For this year's Trinity Community Fair, I am raising a steer out of my very own small herd of Simmental cattle. His name is Bear, and we have a very special bond. I gained his trust very early because he was born blind in his right eye. There are times when he cannot see and relies on me to help him see what he cannot. I have spent countless hours with feeding, watering, bathing, and keeping Bear's stall clean, so that he will look his very best. I cannot wait to show him off at the fair.
