My family and I raise chickens and sell eggs, but I was not prepared for the different challenges that raising broilers would bring. This is my first year raising broilers, and I can truly say that this experience has taught me about working hard, being responsible, and having patience. I learned to make decisions about which animals to cull and how to gradually introduce new feed to them. I want to continue to improve in this project and hope to do it again next year and make improvements from what I have learned.
