Grand Champion Swine – Hayden Hiser – La Porte FFA – 9th Grade

Hello to all! I'm Hayden Hiser and a freshman at La Porte High school. I have been involved in FFA since 3rd grade and have had the opportunity to raise all species of animals. This year COVID-19 put a damper on the show season with the cancellation of our normal La Porte show which our livestock superintendent and board came up with a solution for the animals to be exhibited. Although I couldn't personally exhibit my pig, Allie, the blood, sweat and tears especially this growing season were worth it. Thank you to everyone for the support and encouragement along the way. All money received will go to my future projects and college fund. Thank you!
